Frequently Asked Questions

Billing Information:

  1. Payment by Credit Card:
    We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover charge cards. You can charge to your credit card by phone, fax, e-mail, or standard mail. When paying by credit card, be sure to indicate which card you are using, the complete account number, the exact name on the card, the expiration date, and the security code. Also include the correct mailing address for the credit card statement.

  2. Charge to an open account:
    With established credit you can charge items to an open account. Payment terms are net 30 days. To open your account, complete the credit application.
     
  3. Security Guarantee:
    When you place an order with U.S. GeoSupply, your credit card information is encrypted using industry-standard Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology. With SSL. Only U.S. GeoSupply can read your valuable credit card information, so you can ship with security and confidence.

Domestic Sales:

  1. All orders will be shipped using UPS Ground unless otherwise specified.
    Shipment with FedEx, DHL, and U.S. Mail is also available. Applicable taxes, shipping, and handling are additional. Prices are subject to change without notice.
     
  2. We do not ship hazardous materials. Hazardous materials are only available for pickup by the customer.

International Sales:

  1. International orders can be shipped using UPS, FedEx, or DHL.
     
  2. Payment of freight charges must be made before the shipment is sent out. The customer is responsible for all import duties and taxes.
     
  3. Payment for international orders must be made by wire transfer to our bank before anything is shipped.
     
  4. We do not ship liquids or hazardous materials to addresses outside the United States.

Calculate Shipping Charges:

  1. There are a wide range of methods of transportation services from surface transportation to overnight air shipments. U.S. GeoSupply does not charge handling fees, so you pay only actual shipping costs as charged by the carrier. Due to the variety of product weights and shipping methods, the exact shipping charges are determined at the time of packaging your order. If needed, you may request an estimate of the shipping costs prior to fulfilling your order. To provide us with your preferred shipping method, or a request for shipping cost estimate, or to advise us of a time constraint, you may use the 'Additional Comments' block found within the Order Form, or you can email, fax, or telephone your request.
     
  2. One dollar will be added to all residential deliveries via UPS and FedEx.

Sales Tax:

U.S. GeoSupply, Inc. is required to collect sales tax on all orders shipped to Colorado and Wyoming addresses. 

How to Change Your Account Information:

How to Save an Order:

At anytime during your visit to U.S. GeoSupply, click on the "cart" button at the top of the page. The items you have already added to your shopping cart will be displayed. Click on the "Save Order for Later" button near the top of the page. Name a new list or select one of your existing lists. Your order is now saved. You can access this order the next time you log onto our site.

How to Access Your Saved Orders:

Log in to your account. Click on the "view cart" button at the bottom or side of the page. Click on "Select Cart." This will bring you to your saved orders. Select the order you wish to proceed with, and click "select." This will activate the cart.

Back Orders:

To find out when your back ordered products will ship, please contact our office at (970) 434-3708. You can also inform us if you want your order shipped seperately, or held until the back ordered item is available.

Track your shipment on UPS or FedEx:

Shipment tracking information is available on the UPS or FEDEX web site and accessible using your tracking number.

Review Past Orders:

Click here to log in to your account and view your account history and past orders.

Canceling an Order :

If you wish to cancel an order, call U.S. GeoSupply, Inc. immediately at 970-434-3708. A customer service representative will be happy to assist you. If your order has already been shipped, you can simply refuse delivery when the order arrives. U.S. GeoSupply will issue a refund when the package is received at the U.S. GeoSupply office.

Returns:

  1. Before returning an item, you must call and advise us that you will be returning the item and state your reason.
     
  2. Items must be returned unused and in their original packaging in order to receive a full refund.
     
  3. When the returned items have been received, your credit card will be credited for the price of the returned items. Customer will be responsible for return shipping charges. 

Damaged Shipments:

  1. Report any damage to U.S. GeoSupply immediately by calling (970) 434- 3708. If you receive cartons that are visibly damaged, please note the damage on the carrier's freight bill or receipt. Be sure to obtain a copy.
     
  2. Save the shipping box and packing material along with the packing slip.

Incorrect Shipments:

If there has been an error in your shipment, please contact U.S. GeoSupply by calling (970) 434-3708 for instructions. Package returned items securely. U.S. GeoSupply will pay for shipping charges on returned items due to our error.
